Sticker Drop Welcomes Sydney, Our High School Intern!

044Hello everyone!

My name is Sydney Johnson and I am very excited to say I am Sticker Drop’s high school intern. For years, I’ve known that a career in communications was for me and I applied as soon as I heard Sticker Drop was looking for an intern.  Communications is great because it allows me to do all my favorite things: write, talk, ask questions, learn, explore, make a difference. In addition, seeing my name on a final piece I invested a lot time and effort into combines two big personal rewards: the feeling of immediate satisfaction of a job well done and the anticipation for the next assignment. In fact, I declared journalism as my major on all my college applications.

In the coming weeks, I will be handling Sticker Drop’s online presence and doing other projects in hopes of gaining more fans and spreading the word about the business. Aside from these duties I will be responsible for occasionally blogging about new movies and music and maybe some fashion as well.

Looking forward, my dream has always been to live in New York City and that dream is finally coming true as I will be a first-year at St. John’s University in the fall. I am most excited to take advantage of the opportunities that the city offers, and I am so glad I don’t have to wait until September to start gaining experience.

When I am not studying, I am either running, playing soccer, watching television (The Walking Dead marathons are my favorite), listening to music (check out my latest obsession), surfing the internet, or laughing with family and friends.

I can’t wait to get started and hope to leave for college with a successful internship behind me.

If any of you have an idea for a blog post, share it with me in the comments section. Whether you need fun things to do this summer or new additions to your running playlist, take a second and post it below. I’d love to know what you guys want to read, so please fire away!
